Small amounts of sugar won't cause this, but we must keep in mind that most processed foods and beverages include hidden sugar. The issue is that we frequently consume far more sugar than our pancreas can handle.

Let's look at several ways to prevent this issue. When designing our diet, we should prioritize starch-containing foods like wheat, rice, potatoes, beans, and other natural sources of sweetness like fruits. Because the digestion of these vegetable meals takes a considerable amount of time, simple sugar is released gradually. This enables our body to use this energy in an efficient manner.

The latest scientific study has found that: eating excessive sugar (too many sweets) might lead to such diseases as:

  • Constipation. 
  • Dental caries by creating the optimal cultural environment in the mouth and by reducing the flow of fluids inside the teeth.
  • Immune system suppression by obstructing white blood cells' ability to destroy germs.
  • Diabetic adult-onset disease promotion.
